Girls Shared Disney Princess Bedroom

I’ve always been fascinated with princesses. Their stories are inspiring because they show how even in crazy life experiences, princesses can find strength and persevere. Even though many stories have a guy come in to help rescue them, it still took the princesses’ strength and determination to survive every situation. As a young girl, Disney princess were just beginning to take over, so it was no where near as popular as it is now. Of course, with the increasing amounts of princesses and diversity, there’s a princess almost every little girl can relate to.
My daughters are two years apart, and when they were five and three years old, we moved them into one bedroom so they could play and grow together. They love Disney princesses and playing dress-up, so a shared Disney princess bedroom was a no-brainer for me.

The most ADORABLE Disney inspired banners are all available at the same mom owned shop! Take a look at them all:

There are many steps that went into transforming this space into a girls shared Disney Princess bedroom. I started with creating the painted scallop design on the walls and repainting everything. The the bed had to be assembled which Morgan decided to tackle by himself while he sent us girls on a shopping trip for new bedding!. I certainly found my prince. 🙂 <3
